Context over complexity.
I believe data is just numbers until it’s in context; that what matters about a body or a business is its trajectory, not its current reading; and that the systems we build should extend what people can do, not replace them.
I’m Lukasz. Engineer by training, researcher by trade, builder by temperament; also a musician and an athlete.
I do two things, and they turn out to be the same thing.
- I research AI for medicine as a PhD candidate at the University of Warwick. The work is about measuring a patient against their own history instead of a population average.
- As a forward-deployed engineer I work inside businesses, mostly luxury hotels, taking the numbers they already have and putting them next to each other until they mean something.
This site is where I write it down. Thoughts are ideas and what happened when I tested them. Projects are things I built, what they showed, and the papers that came out of them. If something here is useful, or wrong, write to me.
